While information and its interaction with urban environments are part of everyday experience, it remains a grossly under-theorized category. World-Information City, and the conference that is placed at its culmination, is an effort on our part to inaugurate a set of discussions that we hope will inform future work in this area as well as contribute to debates within the public domain.
