Felix Stalder
Dozent für die Theorie der Mediengesellschaft an der Zürcher Hochschule der Künste; in seiner Arbeit untersucht er die Schnittstelle von kulturellen, politischen und technologischen Prozessen; nebst vielen wissenschaftlichen Artikeln publizierte er Open Cultures and the Nature of Networks (2005), Manuel Castells and the Theory of the Network Society (2006) und Mediale Künste Zürich (2008); er ist außerdem Mitbegründer von Openflows, langjähriger Moderator der Netzkultur Liste und Vorstandsmitglied des Instituts für Neue Kulturtechnologien/t0; mit dem Institut organisierte er u.a. die internationalen Konferenzen Deep Search (Wien, 2009) und World-Information City (Bangalore 2005, Paris 2009); seine Publikation sind verfügbar unter.
lecturer in the Theory of the Media Society at the Zurich University of Arts. His work focusses on the intersection of cultural, political and technological dynamics. He is a founder of Openflows, a long-time moderator of the nettime mailing list, and a board member of the Institute for new Culture Technologies/t0 in Vienna. With the institute, co-organized, among others, the Deep Search conference (2008), and the World Information City conferences, Bangalore (2005) and Paris (2009). He has published most recently Open Cultures and the Nature of Networks (2005), Manuel Castells and the Theory of the Network Society (2006), and, as co-editor, Media Arts Zurich (2008).
